As a good teenager I had some
experiences with alcoholic drinks, most of which I didn't really
enjoyed, however I quite appreciate beer.
Usually people that I'm surrounded by don't mind drinking beer, but for the only purpose of getting drunk. Unlike them I really enjoy the taste and the reason why (I think) is because when I was little I used to drink a lot of kvass. Kvass is a non-alcoholic beverage made from rye that taste similar to beer. Don`t get me wrong my parents weren`t trying to get me used to the taste to make a future alcoholic out of me, it`s just that my grand-parents used to make some kvass, so we had a lot of it, it is also much healthier than the average carbonated drinks.

Not only that beer is the oldest
fermented beverage of all time but it is also the most consumed
alcohol in the world and the third most popular drink overall after
water and tea, intresting isn`t it? But beer is not only fun facts it
is also a socializing method, for instance the games; beer pong,
Edward 40 hands and all the card games. You can drink a lot of it in
a long lapse of time without getting highly drunk, I mean remember
all those embarassing moments after a couple of shots of vodka? Ya me
neither...
It can also be a good way to get your
date on your first night out together a little tipsy without sounding
discusting, you`ll have to agree with me on this one but ``Do you
want to grab a beer`` sounds alot better than ``Do you want to grab a
*insert a strong alcohol name*``
The beers that I personnally prefer are
Corona and Bud Light Lime but the best beer that I have ever tasted
was this summer in Barcelona, Spain in a little pub, it was from a
barrel and it was simply exquisite, it felt so fresh and tasty and I
could feel this little wooden flavour that maybe not everyone would
enjoy but I certainly did.
There is still so many things to learn
about beer, so many flavors to explore and so many people to share it
with. I want to try something new, so tell me what beer do you prefer
and if you don`t like beer what other beverage do you recommend?
